What We Believe

The Refinery confesses the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and summarized in the great creeds of the church

We believe the Bible — the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God, and our supreme and final authority for faith and practice. 

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ — fully God and fully man — lived a sinless life, died on the cross for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return to judge the living and the dead. We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone — apart from any merit of our own.
